Welcome
Hi, I’m Cassidy Karlin. I’m a student therapist at Luminary Solutions and a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at DePaul University. I’m trained in parts work and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles, which shape how I help clients explore their unique life story.
I’m not here to fix you, I’m here to get curious with you. Therapy with me is a space where all parts of you are welcome, even the ones that feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to talk about. I bring transparency, empowerment, and a little bit of humor to help you explore what’s happening internally and reconnect with your Self. I’m especially interested in supporting clients working through trauma, navigating life transitions, and developing a deeper connection with themselves.
The road to healing is already within you, I’m just here to help you access it!

I believe that everyone experiences pain, and that we don’t have to suffer in silence. Instead of pushing it down or pretending it’s not there, let’s talk about it with compassion toward yourself.
I also believe that therapy is a space to explore the different parts of who you are, each one shaped by something very real. When we slow down and get curious, we can start to understand how past experiences are showing up in the present. That’s where healing begins, not by fixing what’s broken, but by listening to what’s been unheard.
